Thank you so much for everyone that helped us last year to change Reading for the day and it’s coming round to that time of year again. We would like to do again what we did last year ~ pictures can be found here
We can’t pay money for your talents but we have a small materials budget and any time you can offer from 1 hr to the whole day would be much appreciated!
Friday 4 June, 11am – 4pm
Town Centre Day, Reading Town Centre
Artist for the day:
We want to create again a town full of artists and artists in the making for the day, it is a hugely ambitious project and we are looking for as many artists/ makers/ writers/ performers as possible to donate some time to help us change the town for the day. You can give 1 hour upwards of you time and we are currently collecting resources to make it happen so any dented paper, materials you no longer need – please please donate for this day project. The activity will be completely free, open to anyone to join in and the jelly team will be volunteering all day to make it happen. We want as many people as possible to be able to draw, paint, make a print, take part, write or create a sculpture.
We are hoping once again that the day will culminate in a mini art exhibition, either in the Town Centre (weather permitting) or in a space donated for the day.
please email me, Suzanne at email@example.com if you would like to help/ exhibit/ donate
